JAPAN: ONE STEP AHEAD
It is 8:00 a.m. in the bay of Tokyo. The Schaeffler office in the Yokohama Business Park exudes an air of calm. Within the next hour, more than 200 engineers and sales specialists will arrive and bring to life the state-of-the-art laboratories and offices. Project manager Marco Kaiser uses the time to check his e-mails from Germany. He is seven hours ahead of his colleagues in Herzogenaurach, where the rest of his 20-strong team is based.
