The Hannover Messe is the leading event for the German machinery industry. The trade fair in Hannover presents the equipment used in almost every different kind of machine and by many branches of industry. It is also a trend-setter for the mechanical engineering industry.

Integrated industry remains at the top of the agenda. VDMA is actively supporting the forum Industrie 4.0. Maintenance is one of many areas that is influenced by integrated industry and together with the organizer of the Hannover Messe, VDMA is presenting a special show area on predictive maintenance.

Besides the Digital Factory, Industrial Automation and Energy annual events supported by VDMA this year, the ComVac, MDA and Industrial Supply events, with a special focus on surface technology, are also going to be supported by VDMA. Since Cemat will take place next year parallel to the Hannover Messe, this year there will be a special pavilion supported by VDMA.

This year's partner country is Poland.

The numerous VDMA activities at the fair are presented on the VDMA Hannover Messe web page.

VDMA members can visit the exhibition free of charge.

Next year's CeMAT will take place at the Hanover Exhibition Center, in conjunction with the Hannover Messe as the world's leading trade fair for industrial technology.

The art of manufacturing is changing rapidly and there is a growing need for intelligent, networked intralogistics. CeMAT and the Hannover Messe will together provide the platform where visitors from all backgrounds can learn about the latest advances in Industrie 4.0 and Logistics 4.0. The synergy will be particularly evident in the halls dedicated to industrial automation as the beating heart of Industrie 4.0 - the buzzword for networked, autonomous and self-organizing manufacturing. There is a rising demand for individualized, customer-specific products and the necessary responsiveness and flexibility can only be achieved by means of digitalization and the concepts behind Industrie 4.0.

Transport management, packaging, warehouse automation, conveyor systems, industrial IT, process optimization, e-Commerce and online retailing, big data, the Internet of Things, robotics and human-machine communication - all this and more awaits visitors at CeMAT 2018.
